About me

I was born in Munich, Bavaria in 1968. I have lived in Augsburg most of my life, apart from three years I spent in Britain.

As can be seen from these pages, one of my main hobbies is diving (others are theatre, music and poker) - not only in places where the sun shines and the visibility is great, but also in our local lakes. Having been a member of the TSC Alpha Dive Club in Königsbrunn near Augsburg helped me not only to find buddies, but also gave me the chance to take part in pool training sessions on a regular basis. I also administrated their website and helped to organize the club outings. The club, unfortunately, no longer exists.

Online I can be found in the forums of Taucher@net - sometimes even in its chatroom. My nick is nowotaucher, of course! I also write articles as a member of the editorial staff of its monthly online magazine.

I'm happy to say that the translation of my dive reports has really been progressing quite well lately - I manage to translate one article per month, so check out these pages!
